Kids race car beds really help boys to sleep in their bed through the night. No, the bed is not some sort of magical amulet. It’s merely a means to an end, the end of a familiar scene.

Parents know the scene all too well. Their son is scared of the monsters hiding under the bed and the shadows on the wall. So he tiptoes down the hallway to your room, where he spends the rest of the dark night in his parents’ safe bed. But this rerun gets old as he gets older. A new episode where a little foot is not in your face would be great.

          ]]>

Make your boy’s fantasy become a reality with a kids race car bed. Encourage his imagination with this kind of bed. Your automobile aficionado can become Lightning McQueen, win NASCAR races and speed from bad guys, all before dinnertime. When it’s bedtime, he will not need your coaxing to get him into his bed.

But will he stay in it through the night? Many favorable reviews came from parents who found their children staying in their bed all night long. During the day, he conquers evil, and at night, he races in dreamland. Yes, this bed will keep him occupied all the time.

Several brightly colored kids race car beds have fun stickers and realistic hubcap and wheel detailing, all things that young riders like. Parents like the bed’s heavy duty plastic as well as its safe rounded edges.

Some kids will grow out of their beds, but if you get one that is twin size, it can last into your boy’s teen years. With his kids race car bed, he can go from a small time driver to a race car driving legend.

Daytona, Florida is the location for some of the NASCAR rallies, events that draw in crowds from all over the world to participate in some of the most dangerous car races on record. These events are packed full of safety regulations to protect the drivers form injury, but sometimes things happen and events take a turn for the worse.

NASCAR stands for the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing, and was founded in the late 1940s. It is one of the most viewed professional sports in terms of TV viewings in the USA, and is broadcast in over one hundred and fifty countries. There are lots of different vehicles that participate in the sport, from stock cars to pickups, but the trucks draw the most viewers. The course has one hundred laps. A great deal of the cars never make the final lap such is the speed of the race.

But the last NASCAR event, the first meeting of the series, had spectators on the edges of their seats when a fireball tore across the track form the back of one of the vehicles, involving a dozen trucks in a scary pile up. Accidents happen on a regular basis, but it is rare that an incident takes up the width of the course and involves so many cars.

It occurred on lap seventy four out of one hundred, when a truck blew a tyre. The truck spun around and wiped out all the vehicles behind it. As more vehicles were drawn into the wreckage the show organisers feared that there would be casualties and fatalities, but all the drivers involved in the crash walked away unharmed; miraculous for the size of the crash. All the drivers have accepted the worry of a crash at this type of event, but have all admitted that this was a particularly bad one for the event. If you are driving a car on the roads in the UK then make sure you have car insurance to protect you from any possible smashes on the roads.
AMA Supercross is a bike racing sport, which involves muddy tracks, jumps and obstacles and difficult turns. The races are usually held in the professional baseball or football stadiums. The word Supercross comes from motocross and motocross and Supercross are very much similar to each other. The main difference between them is that Supercross tracks are not as fast as motocross tracks but their difficulty level is much is higher. Today these races are authorized and organized by Motorcycle associations and their media collaborates like THQ, who contributed a lot in filming the race. The race starts with 20 riders and then only eight of them enter the main event.

A NASCAR car traveling at 100 miles per hour will travel 150 feet per second. During a ten-second pit stop, all of that car’s competitors will gain one-quarter mile over the stopped car. With this in mind, the pit crew must have set processes and methodologies that allow for their success. These carefully developed processes were most important at last year’s Daytona 500 where the average speed was 137.284 mph, the margin of victory was only .119 seconds and there were an astonishing 52 lead changes.

Good Morning America did a TV segment illustrating the relation of a pit crew to efficient business models and building a successful team. Just like a pit crew is responsible for the rapid time in and out of the pit stop, so is your rollout delivery team for getting each site completed on an accelerated schedule.

Does the technology rollout company you’re engaging have metrics to evaluate their rollout delivery team for meeting accelerated site schedule dates, tech arrival times, performance on site and other project objectives for your technology rollout success?

Strategy
The overall goal of a NASCAR racing team is for the team’s car to take first place. The team must work efficiently and with processes in place to increase the speed and handling of the race car to allow for the car to perform at its best. This is analogous to a technology rollout company with the overall goal to deploy technology across multiple sites rapidly and efficiently. It is essential that the technology rollout company has experienced resources at the sites and the ability to manage and disseminate site requirement changes with little to no advanced notice. This information must be quickly and accurately relayed to all appropriate parties to accelerate or maintain the rollout schedule of each site

          ]]>

Multiple Services Performed
During a scheduled pit stop, the pit crew performs a multi-service operation as swiftly and efficiently as possible. The car is refueled, the tires changed, debris is removed from the radiator air intakes, the windshield is cleaned and many other services are performed as issues arise. In order to be the most effective team possible, the pit crew maintains a training schedule comparable to that of a professional athlete, even in NASCAR’s offseason.

To compare, the technology rollout company must have the resources and experience for accelerated multi-service technology deployments. Their processes and methodologies must be scalable enough to have the ability to deploy the multiple technologies necessary to minimize truck rolls and complete the project across all sites with less time and impact to the end user’s schedule.

The goal of both the pit crew and the technology rollout company is to utilize a business model that includes a system of processes and methodologies to minimize each site’s time by increasing efficiency to accelerate your project schedule successfully.

Does your technology rollout company have the processes and models in place to run your technology rollout as smoothly as a well-oiled machine?

Concert Technologies, founded in 1995, is a privately-held technology service company based in Dulles, VA. It is the leader in the rapid delivery of nationwide rollouts and global technology deployments for government, commercial and international organizations. Utilizing the Maestro Technology Rollout System, it quickly implements, installs and manages multi-site, multi-service, multi-technology infrastructure projects. Race Your Car Through Rims Financing!

Car racing is fun. Some people have become more interested in car racing these days. Formula 1 has become one of the most popular sports in television. NASCAR races have become more and more popular as well. Essentially, car racing is all about speed. The faster your car can get the better. Engine has always been the vital part of racing. Other than speed, car racers are also concerned with how their cars will look from the outside. There are a lot of ways to improve their cars. More often than not, they customize their cars by having a new paintjob while others would use technology to make their car look better and perform faster. Several people would choose to change their wheels to make their car look good and improve their car’s performance.

Wheel change is not new in car racing. Most often than not, they get to change their wheels during the race to ensure greater speed, steering and traction capability. It gives them a fast and smooth driving. Because of this, it can really be expensive to join these kinds of racing. If you are one of the big names in this sport, you probably would not have any problems in changing your wheels with the sponsors you have. But, if you are one who is just starting a career in this sport or just love racing as a hobby, this can really be expensive.

          ]]>

You do not need to totally customize your car by adding high technology features or scrapping out its original look. It is enough that you get to improve your engine or opt to change your wheels. Wheels can really play a vital role in cars. You can experience the best ride with the proper wheels. Wheels can improve your speed and save time. Getting the best wheels with longer tread life would mean less wheel change during races. Meaning, you get to take the road while others would replace their wheels. You can be the first to the finish line!

Since wheels can cost you a lot of money, you can choose to purchase them through financing companies. Rims financing help people purchase rims and tires at the most affordable price. As car racers, you can simply have the best quality wheels by applying for financing with low and easy payments. You can get the tires with best tread life and the rims which can improve your car’s look. It is important to note that rims financing companies offer you a variety of styles you can choose from. They also offer the best styles and brands for any car make or model. If you are looking for the best brands, you can easily find them in these companies.

Lastly, aside from the fact that these financing companies offer you low prices for quality rims, they also offer you the best rim and tire packages. You can choose to replace all your wheels and save a couple of dollars at the same time. Wheel brands and styles will not be limited either. Various styles and brands are available to you. If you want to customize your cars by replacing your rims and tires, enjoy the race through rims and tires!

If ever a nickname was appropriate, the one writer Karl Ludvigsen came up with was perfect when he called the 1955 Chrysler C-300 the “Beautiful Brutes”. This car was truly a brute in looks as well as power and was the car that really kicked off the horsepower race when it came out with the first 300 horsepower engine in a production car. The C-300 could be considered to be the first muscle car but it didn’t fit the popular description of what was then called a super car. To be a super car the engine had to be the biggest one in the smallest body. The engine was the biggest by far but the body was also one of the largest, so it wasn’t a super car even though it ran like one.

In 1951 Chrysler came out with a Hemispherical Combustion Chamber engine with 180HP which caused quite a stir and gave an indication of the horsepower race that was going to heat up over the next 20 years. If people were surprised in 1951, then they were flabbergasted when the horsepower was raised to 300HP in just 4 years.

The 1955 C-300 was called the “Forward Look” styling. Even though it was designed by Virgil Exner, people joked that it was designed as much from the Chrysler parts bin as it was by him. The front clip along with the grill was taken from the 1955 Imperial with the midsection from the New Yorker model and the Windsor contributed the rear quarter. Exner was able to put all these together along with base model Chrysler bumpers and ended up with a design that turned out to be one of the classic body styles of all time. While it was a stripped down model with no back up lights or out side mirrors it did come with tan leather upholstery and the options included power seats and windows, tinted glass, radio and heater and stylish Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels.

          ]]>

Chrysler had good success in NASCAR (National Association Of Stock Car Automobile Racing) racing with their Hemi engines in the years leading up to 1955. They were 2nd in NASCAR in 1953 and won the championship in 1954. Even though the Chryslers more than held their own it wasn’t until 1955 when it appears they decided to dominate NASCAR by basically building the C-300 especially for NASCAR racing. With a Firepower Hemi engine putting out 300 horses from 331 cubic inches it was the hottest production car in America. They won 22 out of the 40 races in 1955 in one of the most dominant racing displays ever.

Although the Chrysler C-300 only sold 1,725 cars in 1955 they packed the showrooms with people wanting to see the monster that was setting speed records from the drag strip to the Bonneville Salt Flats and all types of speed events in between. Even though it was over 50 years ago I remember when the 1955 cars hit the showrooms like it was yesterday. My buddies and I were like kids in a candy store as we went from showroom to showroom. That was the year Chevrolet debuted their new V-8 and they also had the newly designed Corvette. Ford brought out their new Thunderbird that year. Both Oldsmobile and Buick were redesigned and their super cars both got power increases.

All of these and several other were exciting but the one that topped them all was the Chrysler C-300. It was the first American production car to have an engine with 300 HP and even though it weighed over 4,000 pounds the statistics were pretty amazing. It would do 0-60 MPH in less than 10 seconds and had a top end of over 130 MPH depending on which one of the 3 optional rear axle ratios were used.

Due to it being an automotive icon and with low sales numbers the 1955 Chrysler C-300′s bring some eye popping prices when they can be found. One sold earlier this year for 1,500. Not a bad increase from the ,000 they cost new, which was pretty pricey back in 1955. If you are a Mopar Collector this would be the crown jewel in your collection.

<img alt=""NASCAR Racing"" src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/8/10671501_382cecdf36_m.jpg" width="160"/>
by greywolf

The nature of certain sports makes it more difficult for traditional forms of sport betting. This is the reason why for some sports, bets are made using money lines. Money lines are often used in sports such as boxing, tennis and NASCAR racing. In these sports there are no point spreads. The only measurable item is who actually wins and who loses. Money lines are set to take all of this into account.

Money line betting first determines who will win the particular sporting event. This is known as the favourite. The money line is then set so that anyone wagering money on the favourite must risk a higher amount of money. Anyone making a wager on the underdog will be less money but will have more risk since their pick isn’t favored to win. Money line betting in essence evens out the differences and sets to equalize the betting table.

Not only is money line betting used in tennis, boxing and NASCAR racing, it is also used in golf and Major League Baseball. Point spreads are not appropriate to use in betting on Major League Baseball. These games often have low scores so it makes setting a point spread difficult.

Money lines can be used in sports where other betting options are available. Football and basketball, whether professional or college, can have money lines offered on them. This gives betters another option when placing wagers on these sports. They can simple select who they believe will when without having to consider a point spread.

When contemplating making a money line bet, it is important to understand how to read the money line. If the amount is a positive number, then the odds tell how much can be won if a one hundred dollar wager is placed. For example, odds of 3/1 would amount to 0. On the other hand, if the amount is negative, then the odds are reporting how much money must be bet to win one hundred dollars. For example odds of 1/3 would equal -0. Odds may also be determined to be even. In these situations, they are reported as 0. Knowing this information should help you make more informed wagers when delving into sports futures.

Jeff Gordon is a famous American race car driver who was born in 1971 in Vallejo, California. He has won the Nascar Winston Cup four times, and he drives car #24 for Hendrick Motorsports. As of this writing, one of his most prominent sponsors is DuPont. Jeff Gordon began racing when he was only five years of age. He loved to race cars, and his family was supportive of him. His family actually relocated primarily because they wanted Jeff to be in a location where he could better harness his racing skills. While he was still a minor, Jeff had already won a number of races and was given the USAC Midget Car Racing Rookie of the Year award.

After this, Gordon went on to win the USAC Midget title, and by 1991, he had gained the USAC Silver Crown. He broke a record by being the youngest person to ever capture the title. He went to the Busch Series after this, and had a large number of victories. Gordon crashed his car during the the Hooters 500 race in Atlanta in 1992, and this caused him to be placed in the 31st position. Jeff Gordon was one of many young racers who would be placed on high quality teams early in their careers. The success of Jeff Gordon allowed a younger generation of racers to begin competing in Nascar.

Many critics felt that Gordon was not ready to compete at the professional level because of his habit of racing cars so hard that he crashed them. However, Gordon proved them all wrong during the 1994 season, were he emerged victorious in the Lowe’s Motor Speedway, which was a long and difficult race. Gordon would also go on to win at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Brickyard 400. In 1995 he won what would become the first of four Winston Cup Championships. Jeff Gordon is also famous for rising up against the legendary Dale Earnhardt, and he has become a fan favorite.

Many people consider Jeff Gordon to be one of the greatest drivers in Nascar because he achieved so much at a very young age. Even at 35 years of age, Jeff Gordon has successfully won 75 races, which is just one victory behind Dale Earnhardt. Jeff Gordon is also notable for making Nascar a popular sport with mainstream audiences. For a long time, the sport was only regulated to the south, but Jeff Gordon has allowed it to reach a high level of popularity due to advertising and his skills with the media.

This sport is no longer watchable. NASCAR has completely ruined this sport. There’s no competition, the cars aren’t and don’t look like stock cars. They go down the straight aways sideways. And the point system is a joke. And 90% of the caution flags are for debris. This by far is the most boring of NASCAR seasons ever.

I know I’m not the only one who thinks this way, just look at all the empty seats at all of the races. The ticket prices are outrageous and the excitement and thrill of the sport is gone. NASCAR needs to make some serious and drastic changes for next year, to try and make it more competitive as well as put the excitement back in the sport for the fans.

One of my ideas would be to give a quarter point to a driver for every lap he leads, that way you don’t have drivers busting their tail to lead just one lap to get there five bonus points and then drop back. If a driver gets a quarter point for every lap he leads then that gives them some incentive to race for the lead every lap. Then you have the tire situation they had at Indy, that was a joke. Here you have one of the most traditional races on the schedule and they have to throw a caution every 10 or 12 laps to change tires.

NASCAR needs to go back to the old days where they didn’t mandate everything and let these guys set their car up the way they want to and let them go racing. I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m done watching this sport until something is done to make it more exciting. And as much as I hated to do it, I gave up my Bristol tickets. It’s no longer worth the time and money to make that trip twice a year.
